Yoga found Amanda at a time when she needed it most—during recovery from injury. What began as a way to heal her body soon evolved into a powerful path of reconnection—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through breath, movement, and presence, she discovered strength, patience, and the transformative power of beginning again.
A former college athlete and triathlete, Amanda brings a deep well of experience to her teaching, with a background in group fitness, swim instruction, and children’s yoga. Now pursuing her 500-hour certification, she blends her athletic roots with the mindfulness of yoga to offer classes that are both empowering and grounding. Her flows are breath-driven and intentional, weaving together strength and softness, effort and ease—embodying the essence of sthira sukham asanam.
For Amanda, the practice isn’t about doing it all—it’s about coming home to yourself, exactly as you are. Whether her students are building resilience, finding stillness, or navigating change, she holds space with presence and compassion, just as yoga once held space for her.
With a creative eye shaped by her background in graphic design, Amanda brings intention and care to every class. Her teaching reminds students that yoga isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, breathing deeply, and remembering who you are.

Ella has been a certified yoga instructor for over four years now. Her favorite classes to teach (and take!) are Vinyasa power flow classes. When you walk into one of her classes, know that you are going to be challenged where you are, without comparison to anyone else. Ella allows for a lot of freedom and modification in her classes, she believes yoga is for anyone and everyone. Ella’s main goal while teaching class, is to create the most safe, welcoming, and restorative environment. Ella recently graduated from OSU in May with a degree in English education and is now enrolled in a graduate program at Ohio State.

Here are some questions I have recently been asked about yoga if you think any of this info would fit into my bio:
How did you end up in yoga?
For years I actually avoided yoga. It hurt my back and I didn’t like “being alone with my thoughts” of worry and anxiety.
However, when I realized that it actually helped my back and calmed my thoughts, then I was “all in”.
- Why do you practice?
It rejuvenates me in body, mind and spirit.
- How does yoga change you off the mat?
It gives me a special “spring in my step” because it makes me feel confident and balanced.
- What is your style?
Warm, Inclusive and friendly
What does yoga mean to me:
It is the union of mind, body and breath. It helps me to feel centered.
